Little Feet Academy is a faith-based daycare center in Franklin, IN, offering safe and affordable childcare since 2019. Our highly-trained team is certified in infant and child CPR and first aid, providing a nurturing environment with a customized curriculum focused on development, academics, and the Bible. We teach morals and values while fostering creativity and dreams. We are proud to serve Franklin, Greenwood, and nearby areas. Our Story
Welcome to Little Feet Academy – Where Little Steps Lead to Big Futures!
Little Feet Academy was born from a big heart and a bold vision. In 2019, John Stephenson saw an opportunity to blend faith, community, and early childhood education in a truly special way. At the time, there was an existing daycare operating on the grounds of his church, but it wasn’t connected to the church’s mission or values. When the need arose to breathe new life into the center—and to ensure it aligned with the heart of the ministry—John stepped up and took on the challenge.
What started as a leap of faith has grown into a joyful, nurturing, and faith-filled environment where children can grow spiritually, socially, and emotionally. With dedication and love, John transformed the daycare into what we now proudly call Little Feet Academy—a place where each child is seen, known, and cherished.
At Little Feet Academy, we believe that the early years of life are a beautiful journey. That’s why we provide more than just childcare—we offer a supportive, Christ-centered community for families. Every day, we blend learning with laughter, play with purpose, and faith with fun. Our passionate team of educators is committed to helping every child discover their God-given gifts while building foundational skills for a lifetime of learning.
Our classrooms are filled with color, creativity, and kindness. Whether it’s story time, snack time, or praise and worship, everything we do is designed to encourage curiosity, build confidence, and grow faith. We’re proud to offer age-appropriate learning experiences that spark imagination and encourage exploration—all within a safe and loving environment.
But Little Feet Academy isn’t just for kids. We’re a place for families to connect, grow, and feel supported. From community events to parent resources and spiritual encouragement, we’re walking alongside our families every step of the way.
John’s vision for Little Feet Academy was simple: to create a space where little feet could follow big dreams—and follow in the footsteps of faith. Today, that vision lives on in the laughter echoing through our halls, the friendships forming on our playground, and the prayers whispered at naptime.

Little Feet Academy – Where Faith Meets First Steps.
John and his team of dedicated employees have the privilege of providing affordable childcare to the next generation, which includes a faith-based curriculum geared towards development, academics, and the Bible. We believe that with faith and education, we can teach strong moral and values while nurturing creativity.
Our staff is trained in infant and toddler care, and our curriculum is customized to prepare your children for kindergarten. We have a playground on-site where we host many outdoor activities, and we have breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks available for every child.
Our daycare is certified in CPR and first aid for both infants and children, so you never have to worry while your child is with us. We are proud to provide a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for children between the ages of 6 weeks and preschool age. We love children and we love getting to know the whole family, so parents are encouraged to engage with the staff!

Laura and Carolyn were my daughters emotional support teachers when she first started, they do amazing with her when drop offs might not go as smoothly. We love sending our 7-month old to Little Feet Academy Franklin. Daycare was a really hard decision for our family, as it is for a lot of families. Little feet allowed us to tour, visit, and ask lots of questions. With a Pediatric Nurse on staff full-time and 3 teachers in the infant class, I knew our daughter would be safe and loved on. The teachers are kind, utilize “Brightwheel” ensuring that us parents know exactly what is happening with our children at all times. We love receiving multiple photos and videos of our daughter playing and having fun, as it makes us feel better knowing she is happy. The fun activities, picture days, lessons, are just some of the wonderful perks of bringing our baby to this school. We look forward to staying with Little Feet Academy through our child’s early development years as we see what to expect in the classes in ages above her.
We can’t recommend Little Feet enough, as first time parents who were terrified of the idea of leaving our world in someone else’s hands. Check them out.
